This policy explains what personal information Early G.R.I.P. collects through this website, why, and what your rights are. We keep it to the minimum we need.
Who we are
Early G.R.I.P. (Grounded Relationships in Parenting) is run by Syeda Burhana Begum, who is registered as a sole trader. For anything to do with your personal information, email info@earlygrip.co.uk.
What we collect and why
When you send a message
The contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, the topic and your message. We use these only to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to arrange coaching or answer questions about the books. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
Messages are sent to our email inbox. The website itself doesn’t keep a copy. Please share only what you’re comfortable with, especially about your children.
When you email us directly
We use your email address and what you tell us to reply to you, on the same basis as above.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as needed for the coaching and for 6 years afterwards for tax purposes. Then we delete them.
Who else is involved
- Hostinger hosts this website and our email. Their servers for this website are in the UK.
- Substack hosts Burhana’s articles. The article pictures on this site load from Substack’s servers, so Substack can see your IP address when you view them. If you subscribe, Substack’s own privacy policy applies.
- Instagram (Meta). We link to Instagram but don’t embed it, so Instagram sees nothing until you choose to visit.
- Calendly handles call bookings. If you book a call, you’ll do that on Calendly’s website (opens Calendly), where they collect your name, email address and chosen time, and their privacy policy (opens Calendly) applies.
We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
Cookies
This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t use analytics. The fonts are stored on our own server, so loading a page doesn’t send your details to Google. The site uses a caching tool to load pages faster, which doesn’t set cookies on your device.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to stop using it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email info@earlygrip.co.uk and we’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk (opens another website) or on 0303 123 1113.

We’ll update this page if anything changes. Last updated: 22 October 2026.
