The twelve sessions

Every session is on a Sunday, from 11am to 12pm.

November 2026

  • 8 November: What to prioritise in the early days of parenting, when everything feels important. From brain health, cradling and a mother’s intuition to everything in between.
  • 15 November: Everything to know about co-sleeping safely with your baby. Let’s discuss whether co-sleeping is safe, and how to approach night-time fears, exhaustion and half-asleep nappy changes.
  • 22 November: Why does it feel so hard to ask for help during postnatal depression? Why does something so commonly experienced by mothers after birth still feel taboo? Let’s talk about how to approach getting help in those dark moments.
  • 29 November: What is secure attachment, and how do you build it with your child? Let’s learn what attachment styles are and how to tell whether you’re on the right track.

December 2026

  • 6 December: Behaviour issues or brilliance in the making? So often, common developmental behaviours in babies and toddlers are mistaken for bad behaviour. Let’s see what your child is up to.
  • 13 December: How you communicate with your child matters, a lot. Talking to babies and young children doesn’t come naturally to everyone. Are you too rigid, too babyish or something entirely different?
  • 20 December: Tantrums or meltdowns, and what’s the difference? If there’s one thing you get right in parenting, let it be this. Let’s discuss how to identify what’s happening for your child in the moment, and how to resolve it.
  • 27 December: What are boundaries, and how do you set them? The most underrated life skill every person needs to learn, not just parents. Healthy boundaries can have a profound impact on your relationship with your child.

January 2027

  • 3 January: Your home layout has a direct impact on your child’s development. One of the least talked about topics in parenting, yet the impact is huge. Let’s discuss how your child learns through the environment they’re in.
  • 10 January: Screen time. Some screen, or no thank you? What is too much screen time, and what are the long-term effects of screen time on your child’s brain?
  • 17 January: We’re not perfect, so learn to repair. Even with so much knowledge and understanding, we’ll still make mistakes. Let’s learn how your mistakes can be a great learning opportunity for you and your child, through repair.
  • 24 January: What is the purpose of parenting? Let’s bring together all the topics from the last 11 weeks and answer the ultimate question. It will help you adjust your mindset so you can respond calmly to your child rather than react.

This workshop is for learning and discussion. It isn’t medical advice. If you’re struggling with your mental health, please speak to your GP or health visitor.
