Hi Parent.

Two boys sitting side by side on prayer mats, reading.

If you have found your way to our website then I know I can relate to you already!

I am a mum of 3 small children, and my fascination with learning about parenting started when I was pregnant with my first child.

Just so you know: I was petrified of the thought of having children.

My mum did her best to raise me and my siblings. Everything she knew about parenting was only from what she was taught by her mum: traditional methods passed down from generation to generation. Some of those methods were beneficial and necessary even today. Some were detrimental and harmful, yet those damaging methods are still being used today by unaware parents to raise their children.

As a child and young adult, I struggled with emotional regulation, had crippling insecurities, and had zero self-worth.

My mum loved me then, and she loves me still. It wasn’t the lack of love that made me experience the world with fear and anxiety. It was my mum’s lack of effective parenting skills that taught my brain all the wrong lessons.

When I found out I was pregnant, I made a promise to myself that I would give my child a different way of experiencing childhood. A positive one. One that would make the world seem less overwhelming, unlike my experience.

Even before my firstborn came into the world, I started to research online, study through the Open University and talk to other parents to prepare myself for parenthood. Most parents only knew negativity and dread. Everywhere I turned I was told “say goodbye to sleep”, “no more drinking hot tea”, “be prepared for the terrible twos”, and “your body will never be the same again”.

Thanks to the digital age and libraries, there is a huge amount of information available, so I decided to study parenting from scratch and upskill myself. I turned to the world’s pioneering and leading experts to build my knowledge.

After reading research papers, established theories, comparing works from experts across the globe, checking old theories and new guidelines and seeking the magic thread that links them all, I found it!

THAT is when I realised something which changed my life.

It changed my parenting journey towards a path which led me to LOVE parenting.

I put my findings to the test by implementing them with my firstborn. I was astounded by the results. I then did the same with my other children. Unbelievable results! My conscious parenting is one of the first things people compliment on when they see how articulate, emotionally regulated and socially confident my children are.

It wasn’t a trick, or a natural gift. I learned and implemented a life skill called parenting! It helps me communicate better with all children, not just mine!

Pretty soon parents started asking me to help them with their journey and achieve calmness in their homes. I feel so passionate and confident about the work I do, which led me to officially set up Early G.R.I.P.

I experience absolute delight in helping parents develop their skills to find parenting peace. That inner calmness that avoids yelling and leaves room to focus on development and connection.

Using research-backed theories and studies from the top child psychologists and physicians in the world, I help parents learn a vital skill to build a connected family.

It wasn’t a trick, or a natural gift. I learned and implemented a life skill called parenting.
